As an experienced Kent Wedding Celebrant I’ve helped hundreds of couples celebrate their love with a bespoke, personalised wedding ceremony. It’s not a side hustle, this is my full time occupation and I absolutely adore it.
There are many reasons for needing the services of a professional Celebrant. Whether you’re getting married at home, or somewhere unlicensed like a woodland or perhaps in a grander setting like a castle or stately home. Beautifully tailored Celebrant-led wedding ceremonies are the perfect option for modern couples!
I’m Katie Keen, and joined by Jo Olagboyega , we are a small but perfectly formed team! Katie is located between Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and Jo lives in Ashford, and so we cover the entire county of Kent and of course, much further afield too.
If you’re searching for a Wedding Celebrant for a wedding in Kent then look no further. We frequently take weddings in our local counties of Sussex, Surrey and Essex and absolutely love being asked to head a bit further away for destination weddings. We also love to officiate at the many beautiful London wedding venues you may be considering.
You might have spotted Katie on E4’s Married at First Sight UK officiating Erica & Jordan’s wedding ceremony; she was also on the show back in 2021 marrying Morag & Luke.
TV weddings are great PR, but what we really love is sharing authentic love in joyful wedding ceremonies for real couples who have a beautiful story to tell.
Celebrant-led weddings are currently trending here in the UK (according to The Hitched Wedding Trends Report ). This means that experienced Kent Wedding Celebrants like us are in even more demand to perform customised and bespoke ceremonies. More and more modern couples want their wedding ceremony to reflect their personalities, values and vision for the day. And what better way to kick off those celebrations than with a Celebrant-led wedding ceremony? Here’s what Tess and Tom had to say about theirs:
“We couldn’t have wished for a more dreamy ceremony in the woods. Katie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for really getting to know us, and our love. You curated the most meaningful and personal ceremony that made us laugh and cry. Words and vows we’ll remember for ever.” Tess & Tom
I’ve loved my role as a Kent Wedding Celebrant for the past 10 years and I’ve never been busier. So from 2024, I’m delighted to say that my Associate Celebrant Jo will be available for a limited number of dates! Find out more about both of us here and then let’s see if we can make some magic happen!

Who needs a Celebrant-led Wedding?
Couples who want a meaningful, personalised ceremony that’s all about them! But also, couples who want to hold their wedding somewhere without a civil marriage licence. This could be their family home or outdoors in a forest, festival site or woodland.
Receiving “Highly Commended” as Best Celebrant in the South East 2018 – the first year there was a dedicated Celebrant category in The Wedding Industry Awards! I was delighted to come a very close 2nd to my good friend, lovely Claire of Creating Ceremony.
