Having decided to get married to the love of my life we set about the search to find the most amazing Celebrant to be there and help tell our story beautifully and with the most amazing energy to our family and friends at our wedding. We found Katie online and sensed she could do the job better than anyone. We met and wow - this is the only time we are marrying and we were so chilled - every single detail was pre-planned, clearly communicated but most of all - we felt like we knew her our entire life! She completely enhanced our day matching our cheekiness and chemistry and we will be forever grateful ♥️

We are so glad that we chose Katie from True Blue Ceremonies to be our celebrant.

Katie was recommended to us by our venue, and I’m so glad we chose to work with her. From our very first conversation, we knew she was the perfect fit.

She gave us some “homework” — a set of thoughtful questions about our relationship, how we fell in love, and what we love about each other. It ended up being such a lovely pause in the midst of all the wedding planning — a chance to reconnect with the why behind it all. Later, we met Katie for brunch where she went through our answers, got to know us properly, and really tuned into the vibe we wanted: relaxed, a little humour, and lots of love.

Katie also helped us prepare our vows and made sure everything was organised well in advance, which really helped take the pressure off. On the day itself, she was incredibly patient and supportive — even when we made a last-minute call to hold the ceremony outdoors with rain threatening. The ceremony turned out beautifully. It was exactly what we’d hoped for.

Katie is an absolute gem — warm, welcoming, and an amazing communicator. She makes you feel so comfortable, like you’ve known her forever, and you can tell how experienced and capable she is. We felt completely safe in her hands.

We were recommended Katie by our venue (St Julians), and as soon as we met her, we knew she would be perfect. She had such a calm, warm presence and immediately made us feel at ease.

Throughout the planning process, Katie was helpful, thoughtful and full of great ideas. She guided us in writing our vows, helped us choose readings that felt really meaningful, and always gave suggestions without ever being pushy. We wanted to include a cocktail making element in the ceremony, so we opted to make a Baby Guinness shot together, Katie loved the idea and blended it into the ceremony with ease.

On the day, she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, it was such a comfort to have a friendly, reassuring face standing with us at the front. The ceremony delivery was absolutely perfect. Nothing felt rushed; it felt heartfelt, personal, and full of warmth. You could tell Katie genuinely cared.

Our guests were full of praise, so many told us how engaging, unique and personal the ceremony felt, and how refreshing it was compared to a more traditional format. Katie captured who we are as a couple beautifully, and the whole experience was more special than we ever imagined.

What really stands out is her communication and organisation; it's impeccable, and immediately puts you at ease.

Katie conducted the ceremony for our recent wedding and did an absolutely incredible job! From our first initial zoom almost 3 years ago, all the way through to the wedding, Katie has been incredibly warm and friendly and made us feel at ease throughout. She worked around our holidays and our failure to meet her deadlines to produce a wonderful wedding ceremony script. On the wedding day the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and we had guests commenting on whether we knew Katie personally because the ceremony was so personal and warm. Katy was absolutely incredible throughout the whole experience - from the very start she was really helpful going above and beyond her role as celebrant. We had a DIY wedding and had no planner or any help, but Katy gave us so many tips and guidance on planning the day perfectly. Our guests all commented on how wonderful the ceremony was and how much more personal and full of love it was than your average legal ceremony. Katie is absolutely amazing at what she does! From the very first meeting, we felt like we had known her for years - she is very easy to get along with, makes you feel very relaxed about the whole process, and instantly understood the ceremony feel we wanted. We loved how much time and care Katie took into crafting our ceremony and she allowed us to make any tweaks we wanted (not many needed at all!). She made a beautiful poem for us as well! Katie did such an amazing job with planning and conducting our ceremony! Given that we live over 120 miles away, all of the planning had to be done virtually, and still it was fantastic!

She included every request we made about our ceremony and gave us suggestions towards our vows. She “married” us on our first legal wedding anniversary, so it was extra special for us to have her conduct the ceremony on our wedding day!

We could not recommend Katie any more as a celebrant! As soon as we spoke, we knew she was the celebrant for us. Katie made us feel so comfortable, relaxed and excited for our big day!

We met with Katie a few months before our wedding and spoke on Zoom several times too. She was incredibly friendly, warm and kind and we felt like she knew exactly the type of ceremony we wanted. We also filled in Katie’s form to get lots details and personal elements into the ceremony. Katie met us at the venue the day before for a rehearsal. This was so useful and we made us feel very prepared for the following day. Her advice and recommendations were spot on. We also used Katie’s PA systems and beautiful ceremony playlists.

The ceremony itself was perfect and Katie delivered it beautifully on the day. So many guests complimented the ceremony and how well it matched our personalities compared to a regular registrar ceremony.

Me and Ana found Katie literally one month before the wedding and we were worried we would not have time to give all the details or put together anything special. 

As we did not have many people, no godfathers and only one of our parents as guests we desperately needed someone to guide us and calm us down when panicking about the nearing event.
She was so sweet and kind and mothered us all the way caring to our feelings and asking us all the right questions to make the event suitable for us.

We shared our love story with her and she wrote a script that had us stop eating and start crying at a restaurant when we received the first draft.
Honestly there ceremony was turned from what could have become a disaster into one of the most emotional moments in our lives and our guests were witnesses to it, wonderfully narrated by Katie.

Thank you! No, really, thank you!

For whoever’s reading this and is looking for a celebrant please just stop looking. You won’t find anyone more suitable for the job.

We chose a celebrant for our wedding day as we did not want our wedding to be the same as everyone else's and we wanted to make it personal and fun.

Katie delivered on every level. The ceremony was personal, emotional, funny and completely unique.

Katie got to know us over a few months, came to our home and met our children.
This made the experience leading up to our big day as personal and special as the ceremony itself.

Katie went above and beyond to make sure everything was what we wanted and more.

Katie pulled a rabbit out of a hat for my daughters wedding.  The pandemic meant we had to bring it forward with only a couple of days notice.  Katie stepped up when the registrars were not prepared to assist and made the occasion so personal and magical.  We are all extremely pleased that she helped us when we needed it most.
